The glass used by Hafro for its shower enclosures are made of tempered safety glass in accordance with EN 14428. This type of glass is highly resistant to shocks and sudden temperature changes combined with the best guarantee of safety. In the event of breakage, the thermally tempered safety glass shatters into small, non-cutting fragments, unlike traditional glass.
Anti-limescale treatment
Special anti-drip and limescale treatment on the glass protects the shower enclosure from limescale residues that can damage its brightness. This specific surface processing is carried out directly during production of the glass sheets and creates a protection that prevents the formation of deposits. The treatment lasts over time, does not lose its effectiveness and makes daily shower cleaning faster.
Crystal cleaning
Anti-limescale treatment helps maintain the aesthetic characteristics of the glass over time, but it is important to follow some basic rules to maximise the effect of the treatment in order to have a clean, bright shower.
• Clean the shower after each use to prevent limescale build-up.
• Carefully read the detergent product labels to avoid damaging surfaces.
• Do not use corrosive or abrasive Chlorine, Active Oxygen, Acid or Soda-based products.
• Use only mild or natural cleaning products such as vinegar.
