Nature contains all the elements necessary to restore balance between body and mind.
The heated wood of the Finnish sauna, the steam in the Turkish bath, the water that relaxes and tones with the whirlpool: practices that originate from ancient rituals, created to reconnect with ourselves through natural elements. These practices offer profound benefits, which Gruppo Geromin enhances with selected woods for saunas, state-of-the-art hammams and advanced hydromassage systems. Intimate, slow-paced moments that nourish even what cannot be seen: tranquillity, harmony, spirit and renewed serenity.
Rediscovering balance today means reconnecting with what is essential. Wood, steam, water and heat create a natural dialogue with the body, able to restore calm and relaxation. These practices arise from ancient rituals, reinterpreted today by SaunaVita with selected materials, new technologies and an approach that nourishes body and spirit with the same intensity as in times gone by.
The sauna was born in Northern Europe as a necessary place to face face extreme weather conditions. Back in the XII century its beneficial effects on physical and mental wellbeing were already known. Today that ancient ritual evolves in spaces designed with fine woods, controlled temperatures and ergonomic comfort, but preserves its original mission: to purify and regenerate.
Inside the Turkish bath, a lukewarm fog envelops the body and relieves all tension. At about 45°C, with a humidity next to 100%, the pores open, the skin is purified, breathing becomes easier. The steam of the hammam promotes skin elasticity, clears the airways, relaxes the muscles and nervous system, guiding the body towards deep and gradual well-being.
Light guides our internal rhythm, affects our mood and prepares the mind for relaxation.
Un our saunas and hammams, mood lights are adjustable to modulate the experience: warm tones to regain energy, colder colours to encourage introspection and calm.
Inside Hafro’s hydromassage systems, RGB lighting enhances the perception of well-being. The wavelength of the different shades promotes natural rebalancing and transforms a simple bath into an immersive, complete and multisensory experience.
Collagen supports the structure of the skin, giving it tone and firmness. The Afrodite lamps stimulate the natural production of collagen, helping to improve elasticity and reduce the signs of ageing on the face, neck and décolleté. A simple practice, designed for beauty that goes beyond the surface.
IN THE SAUNA A VERY HOT, DRY ENVIRONMENT IS CREATED THAT STIMULATES SWEATING AND THE EXPULSION OF TOXINS. TO ENJOY THE RELAXING, DETOXIFYING AND REVITALISING PROPERTIES OF THE SAUNA TO THE FULL, YOU MUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND FOLLOW A FEW SIMPLE BUT IMPORTANT STEPS.
PRE-SAUNA | 1ST PHASE
Avoid pre-sauna meals in order not to activate the circulatory system. Small amounts of fruit, yoghurt and whole-grain cereals can be consumed up to an hour before the session.
PRE-SAUNA | 2ND PHASE
Profuse sweating during the sauna can cause dehydration. It is therefore recommended to drink plenty of water (or unsweetened infusions) before each session and during breaks.
PRE-SAUNA | 3 RD PHASE
Before the sauna have a tepid shower to relax the muscles and prepare the skin by opening the pores. Then dry yourself and take off anything that might get too hot and burn you.
SAUNA | 1 ST CYCLE
Once in, sit down or lie down at the lowest bench level, which is also the least hot. You can stay in a sauna at a temperature ranging from 90° to 95° C for 10 to 15 minutes.
POST-SAUNA | 1ST PHASE
Leave the sauna slowly and have a shower or cold dip: the sudden change in temperature closes the skin’s pores and stimulates the circulation, exercising the blood vessels.
POST-SAUNA | 2ND PHASE
Lie down on a recliner and relax. You lose plenty of fluids with transpiration, so make sure to drink a lot of water or a tea.
SAUNA | SUCCESSIVE CYCLES
You can repeat the whole cycle up to three times. If you feel like it, you can gradually increase the temperature you subject your body to by sitting on the sauna’s upper levels.
IN THE HAMMAM THE PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN HEAT AND STEAM IS CREATED TO STIMULATE A RELAXING AND DETOXIFYING ACTION ON THE ORGANISM. THE TURKISH BATH IS EVEN MORE EFFECTIVE WHEN COMBINED WITH COLOUR THERAPY AND AROMATHERAPY.
PRE-HAMMAM | 1ST PHASE
Avoid complete pre-hammam meals in order not to activate the circulatory system. Small amounts of fruit, yoghurt and whole-grain cereals can be consumed up to an hour before the session.
PRE-HAMMAM | 2ND PHASE
Profuse sweating during the hammam can cause dehydration. It is therefore recommended to drink plenty of water, tea or fruit juices before each session and during breaks.
PRE-HAMMAM | 3 RD PHASE
Before going in, take a tepid shower and rub your skin with an exfoliating mitt, to prepare it for the heat. Then drink a hot herbal infusion to promote sweating.
HAMMAM | 1 ST PHASE
Get into the Turkish bath naked or covered by a towel and find a comfortable, relaxing position. It is recommended you stay there for 10 to 20 minutes.
HAMMAM | 2ND PHASE
You can increase the benefits of the hammam by diffusing aromatherapy essential oils through the steam dispenser and breathing deeply and evenly.
POST-HAMMAM | 1 ST PHASE
Once you come out of the hammam, have a cool shower, dry yourself and lie down for at least 20 minutes. Remember to drink plenty of water to replace the liquids lost through sweating.

Created to offer a complete hydrotherapic experience, combines the benefits of Whirlpool (with adjustable intensity) and Airpool with the plus of heater and water temperature regulation.
Ultrawhirlpool is the result of research and the development of an innovative system to manage the electronics, which allows you only to hear the sound of the water during the hydromassage treatment. The fact that the whirlpool is silent becomes the main feature of the wellness system.
8 whirlpool jets flush with the tub and with a minimal design give visual continuity to the surface of the bath and, at the same time, guarantee a pleasant, relaxing treatment. Regulate the hydromassage system to ensure there is always the right balance between air and water, even at a low speed. Thanks to this system the whirlpool bath is silent and you can only hear the water gurgling while you relax. Your wellness is not disturbed by any noise.
