The anti-limescale and anti-drip treatment on the glass screens of all Hafro shower cabins is a specific surface treatment that takes place during the production of the slabs: the protective barrier preserves the glass surface from limescale build-up, a common problem in areas exposed to water.
This treatment maintains the brilliance of the panes for longer, thanks to the nonstick effect that allows limescale deposits, soap and other residues to be removed with the simple use of a squeegee or soft cloth. The anti-scale treatment is designed to reduce the adhesion of water, limescale and soap residue on the shower glass, simplifying daily maintenance. Here are the recommended steps to keep the shower enclosure in optimal condition while avoiding limescale deposits and saving time on cleaning:
· Read the labels of cleaning products carefully to avoid damaging the surfaces;
· Do not use corrosive or abrasive products containing chlorine, alcohol, active oxygen, acid and soda;
· Use only mild or natural cleaning products, such as a 50-50 solution of vinegar and lukewarm water;
· Rinse well and dry glass surfaces with soft cloths or squeegees;
· Ventilate the shower cubicle to prevent mould from forming inside, especially if the cubicle is closed.
